If you’ve ever wished your community had an amazing library📚, transit hub🚌, dozens of EV charging stations🚙, a 134,000-kilowatt solar array🌞, or a community center👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, all built to Passive House standards — this talk is for you.

We’re excited to welcome Isaac Huffman, the Mount Vernon, Washington Library Director, to speak about the multi-use Mount Vernon Library Commons infrastructure project — and how local advocacy and perseverance helped make it happen. This $53 million project is a catalyst for economic development in the Cascadia Innovation Corridor along Interstate 5, between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. Mount Vernon, a town of approximately 35,000 residents, just recently won a $12.5 million USDOT Bipartisan Infrastructure Law grant to install 78 electric vehicle charging ports. With that grant, this project is now 100% funded. This is a FREE event and you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the event link once registered. See you there!
